Bell times

Our school day is structured around a clear timetable. We have set times for learning sessions, activities and lunch. Understanding the bell times helps students get the most out of each part of the day.

It's important for students to arrive on time each day. If your child is running late, please contact our front office.

Warning bells

A warning bell (music) will be rung 2 minutes before the start of the day, and also 2 minutes before the end of Recess and Lunch. Students should proceed to the required room/area as the music plays to arrive on time for class. A single bell will be rung between each lesson/period. Music will play to signal the end of the school day.

Other Bells

• 5 Bells = Wet weather, Lunch/Recess Inside and Hall only
• 3 Bells = Assembly
• Continuous Bell = Emergency evacuation
• Whoop, whoop, whoop sound followed by a short interval, then repeated, ongoing. = Lock down, lock out ( Verbal instructions to be provided where necessary.)
