Oberon High School's recent dramatic production, "Out of the Dark" was an outstanding success, with the students playing to a packed and very appreciative audience.
Trainee English teacher, Mr Tim O'Rourke, who had spent some weeks as a practicum teacher at Oberon High earlier this year, produced and directed the performance which featured Drama students from Years 9, 10 and 11. The performance consisting of five one-act plays, was held in the school's theatrette. It was obvious that the students had put in many hours rehearsal, resulting in a very professional performance.
This is another of the events showcasing the emerging performing arts under the expert guidance of Mrs Amber Crouch, Performing Arts teacher.
Students will again be performing for the public in the school's major production "Suitcase: Oberon High School Unpacking the Year" on Thursday 11th December at the school.
