Year 12 celebrated their last day at Oberon High School with a graduation assembly and morning tea on the final day of Term 3.
The day started though with an informal BBQ where students and staff could mingle in a relaxed atmosphere, share some funny stories and present each other with awards that highlighted the strong bond between final year students and their teachers.
The formal assembly heard from students in other year groups as they wished Year 12 the best of luck whilst the outgoing captains responded with thanks whilst also expressing their deep connection to the school.
The assembly was followed by a morning tea where Year 12 students, families and staff were able to meet before the graduating class left officially for the last time.
There is a Graduation Ball to attend on November 9th, however, there are still Higher School Certificate examinations to complete and we hope that students are fully focussed on these in the short term.
Congratulations to all students in our graduating group and to their Year Advisor Ms Marshall.
